Performance-company Oblivia looked into popular culture and entertainment by means of performance, photography and film in the project Entertainment Island spanning over three years. In Entertainment Island 6. The Book. Oblivia has collected texts, interviews and round table discussions on the theme and the processes behind the work.

In the Name of Art gives a progressive meaning in terms of the existence and the argument of art in Taiwan. It approaches the early situation and looks at visual subjects initiated during the Japanese colonial period and the post-war era with a modern view. In addition to documenting, the series discusses the contemporary art scene since the 1980s under several milestone issues such as gender, ethnicity, and globalization.

This manual isn’t for theatre technicians and it doesn’t aim to make you into one. What it aims to do is give you a greater understanding of how to approach, plan and execute technical set ups in order to make your artistic visions a reality.

Painting as Action encompasses an array of approaches to looking at the borderland between painting and performance, covering a whole range of playful experiments to aggressive risk-taking. Published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at Moderna Museet, Stockholm, in 2012.

E:vent was established by Colm Lally as an artist-run project space in 2003. The programme, which ran from 2003 to 2011, included 120 events (performances, exhibitions, talks and screenings), with contributions from over 400 artists, curators, thinkers, talkers and provocateurs of various kinds. This publication is dedicated to the vibrant and generous community of people involved in producing this rich body of work.
