A compilation of images by Anne Bean from Dubinski notebooks.
In January 2012 I left London with a different name, a suitcase and a limited budget, to find an unknown life, for a year. The first few months were a lot more lacerating than I anticipated. Ballads on lacerated paper emerged from places like Goole, Grimsby and Skegness: ‘The Ballad of the Fallen Women, The Falling Women, Falling Deep with Exuberant Light at the Edge’.
