Drawing Room Confessions is a collection of books. For each issue, the editors invite one artist to take part in three conversations with different interlocutors from a range of fields. The annotated sections of the publication are designed to present a nuanced portrait of the artist at a particular moment in time. Issue #12 is dedicated to Stuart Brisley. He is known for his extended duration performances, a concept he also explores in his sculptures and installations. A founding member of the Artists’ Union England and the only faculty member of the Slade School appointed by the votes of the students.
