LADA is pleased to report that our application for Arts Council England “NPO” funding for 2015-18 was successful, and we have received an award at standstill level.
This support is a strong endorsement of LADA's important work as one of the world’s leading organisations for Live Art, producing specialized projects, publications, resources and opportunities for those who make, watch, research, study, teach, produce, present, write about and archive Live Art. With ACE's investment we will continue to work strategically, in partnership and in consultation with artists and organisations across the cultural sector to develop new artistic frameworks, legitimize unclassifiable artforms, and give agency to underrepresented artists.
Our vision for 2015-18 sees LADA increasingly positioned as a centre for Live Art: a knowledge centre, a production centre for programmes and publications, a research centre setting artists and ideas in motion, and an online centre for digital experimentation, representation and dissemination.
It appears that Live Art, as represented through the “NPO” portfolio, has faired well but has mostly received standstill funding. A statement from the national Live Art UK network will follow soon.
LADA sends congratulations to everyone who received NPO funding, and commiserations to those that did not.
The Live Art Development Agency is delighted to announce that we have re-entered Arts Council England’s National Portfolio.
