Long Table on Feminism Documentation
- Year
- 2014
The Long Table on Feminism was facilitated by Lois Weaver at the White Building in Hackney Wick as part of RRR3 on Wednesday 16 October 2013. Over 100 people attended the event which is an experimental open public forum and a hybrid performance-installation-roundtable-discussion-dinner-party designed to facilitate dialogue through the gathering together of people with common interests.
Below is the documentation from the event which comprises of photos, a zoomable image of the Long Table table cloth and an audio recording of the discussion, which features multiple voices from around 30 participants who joined the table at various different times during the event.
As part of the Long Table participants are invited the write their thoughts and responses onto a paper table cloth. An image of the table cloth can be viewed below. Once you start the Prezi you can zoom in and move around the image.
Supported by Creativeworks London, as part of a project to enhance LADA’s Study Room holdings on Live Art and Feminism.
