Please join us for an evening on the Swiss Live Art scene(s) with the artist and curator Andrea Saemann who is undertaking a research residency at LADA this October looking at documentation and archives, the London based Swiss curator Camille Jamet who organised the Aggregates performance trilogy at Raven Row this Spring, the producer and writer Megan Vaughan, Aaron Wright of Fierce Festival, and Amber Massie Blomfield of Pro Helvetia who was project lead for the Swiss Selection programme at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
LADA is also collaborating on an event at the Ikon Gallery as part of Fierce Festival on Saturday 19 October at 5pm with Andrea Saemann, Megan Vaughan and the Swiss artists in this year’s Fierce – Yann Marussich, Alexandra Bachzetsis, and Marco Berrettini. Details and bookings here.
These events are part of a three programme in collaboration with Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, to raise the profile of Swiss Live Art in the UK and contribute to the development of exchanges and collaborations between artists and promoters in the UK and Switzerland.
