LADA is moving, September 2017
- Date
- Tuesday 27 Jun 2017
We are pleased to announce that after five years in The White Building in Hackney Wick, LADA will move to a new facility on Mansford Street (Bethnal Green, London) in September 2017. LADA has also received a ‘Small Capital’ grant from Arts Council England, which will help support the costs of our new space.
Our new facility will enhance LADA as a centre for events and ideas.
With 85% more space, LADA’s Study Room will continue to host individual users, but also an expanded public events programme (including our regular LADA Screens series), more space for Study Room Resources and events, a Thinker in Residence scheme, our first physical Unbound shop, and a new ‘desk space’ scheme for Live Art Producers, curators, researchers and artists.
Our new landlord is a charity, The Chalice Foundation, which is developing the building around a group of new tenants who share values and offer public provision.
We will share more information about the building and our programme plans later this summer.
Due to this move the Study Room will be closed to the public from 21 August – 17 September while we relocate.
