PerformingBorders2020 ‘Lavender Man’ Screening

The screening of Lavender Man, a new film by Tania El Khoury in collaboration with Mohamad Ali “Dali” Agrebi, formed part of a three-day gathering, bringing all the performingbordersLIVE20 artists together to reimagine borders-free collaborative Live Art practices. Presented by perfomingborders in partnership with Live Art Development Agency, Counterpoints Arts, East Street Arts, Queer Art Projects and HowlRound Theatre Commons. Supported by Arts Council England.

The online screening of Lavender Man was followed by a conversation between Tania El Khoury, Mohamad Ali “Dali” Agrebi and Professor Harriet Hawkins.

Lavender Man

A reflection on friendship, chosen families, the long effect of collaborative and community-based art, and the right of love and movement.

Following the premiere of this new performance to camera, El Khoury will be in conversation Mohamad Ali “Dali” Agrebi and Professor of cultural geography Harriet Hawkins.
