Live Art Desk Scheme – Open Call Closed
- Year
- 2017
LADA moves to a new facility on Mansford Street (Bethnal Green, London) in September 2017, which will enhance LADA as a centre for events and ideas.
With 85% more space, we are launching a new subsidised ‘desk space’ scheme for up to six Live Art Producers, curators, researchers and artists. This will expand LADA’s current Producer-In-Residence scheme.
Dedicated desk spaces will be available on an annual basis, with the following benefits: free wifi provision; access to photocopier, printer, kitchen; use of LADA’s mailing address; access to LADA staff for advice and other support; networking with other Producers curators, researchers and artists; a 10% discount on any Unbound purchases; access to LADA’s Study Room. Subject to availability and timing space can also be made available for meetings and gatherings. We are not able to offer landline telephone access.
A letter of agreement will be signed by both parties.
Desk sharing is possible; see notes in application form.
Two months notice to quit will be required on either side.
Rent paid monthly in advance; no deposit.
Potential for annual renewal of desk rental.
Cost: £100/month (no VAT).
To start October 1, 2017.
Access 10am-6pm, Monday-Fridays (weekend and evening access may be available on request).
Please note: this scheme is fully dedicated to supporting work that benefits the Live Art sector.
