Together with Performance Art Video and Future Ritual, we invite Tiziano Cruz to London to present new work as part of CEREMONY. Since 2016, Tiziano has been developing a trilogy of works in which he crosses his own biography with the collective memory of the people of the interior of Argentina. The performance lecture is an unfolding part of this ongoing enquiry.
On Tuesday 2 – Wednesday 3 December Tiziano will lead an artist lab at LADA.

Tiziano Cruz
Tiziano Cruz is an interdisciplinary artist whose work fundamentally brings together visual and theatrical language, performance and artistic intervention in public space. Tiziano has been a grantee of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes and the Instituto Nacional del Teatro ARG. He was a winner of the Bienal de Arte Joven 2019 and winner of the ANTI award, Finland, 2023; and in 2024 he wins ‘The ZKB Audience Prize 2024’ at Zürcher Theatre Spektakel -Switzerland.
He is the founder of the Cultural Management Platform ULMUS, dedicated to the mediation between different cultural organisations in Argentina and neighbouring countries. He has worked as a Content Producer at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires. His works have toured Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, United Kingdom, Turkey, Italy, Poland, Lithuania and the USA.

Performance Art Video is a platform to explore performance art on video founded on the principles of solidarity and inclusion.
Their Artist in Residence programme provides time, trust and space for artistic research, extending their commitment to supporting artists beyond the presentation of existing work.
PAV understand the residency period as a temporary community: it is a space in which an artist is given time, attention, resources and opportunities for exchange while developing new work.
Through donations and partnerships, resources generated around existing artworks return to artistic practice. In this way, circulation becomes production and support becomes another artwork.

Event information
This is a seated event, lasting approximately 60 minutes. The lighting will be fixed with no sudden changes and microphone amplification will be used. The performance will be presented in Spanish with English captions.
Copeland Gallery space
The building is wheelchair accessible. All bathrooms are gender inclusive and includes an accessible toilet. There is no isolated quiet space inside, but there is a small quiet outdoor area.
