SCOTTEE: I Made It
From Your Retrospective
Friday 7 September, 8pm
Roundhouse, London
Artist and weirdo Scottee is celebrating 10 years of making a mess, causing a fuss and getting ideas above his station with a recollection of his cabaret and performance work!
You are invited to watch well known show offs, lesser known punters, and die hard fans perform – from memory – 10 pieces of Scottee’s work in a ego- fuelled variety show hosted by the fatso himself!
These special events at Roundhouse launch his collaboration with Live Art Development Agency (LADA) on two publications – Scottee: I Made It, a swanky archive book, and The Outsiders’ Handbook, a survival guide for queer and trans* young people – both of which will be available on the night.
We can’t promise this won’t be a shambles.
There will be a booze trolley if all else fails.
Do you want to perform one of Scottee’s pieces? Apply here!
Scottee 10 is supported through LADA’s contribution to the Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme (CAPP), an EU-funded research project looking at collaborative practices within socially engaged contexts, and also forms part of LADA’s Restock Rethink Reflect Four on Live Art and Privilege (2016-18).
