Join Metal, in partnership with LADA, for a special online book club discussing the recently released publication In Other Words.
In Other Words, curated by Kate Marsh in partnership with Metal, is a collection of urgent reflections, created by 49 artists in 2020 exploring their hopes and fears for the future at a time of global crisis. Through prose, poetry, drawing, collage and photography it is a clarion call for change from a diverse group rich in wisdom, shared experience, and what it means to be marginalised in the UK.
Hosted by Kate Marsh in conversation with Harold Offeh, Nina Muehlemann, Rosemary Cisneros and Dr Swati Arora, they will reflect on the content, themes and what their hopes and fears for the future may be. There will also be time for the audience to join the discussion and ask questions.
Please note you do not have to have read the book to attend this event, however if you would like to you can purchase the book here or listen to the audio described version here.
This event will be BSL interpreted and is in partnership with Metal.
