Andrew Ellerby, Relationship Manager for Combined Arts at Arts Council England, will provide an overview of the recent changes to Arts Council grants for artists, including the renamed Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants (formerly Grants for the Arts) and the new Developing Your Creative Practice funding programme. He will be joined by Gemma Seltzer, Relationship Manager for Literature at Arts Council England, who has been involved in the setting up of Developing Your Creative Practice Fund.
There will be time for questions and discussion on all aspects of these funding schemes.
This session is for artists at all stages of their careers, freelance producers, and students about to graduate — whether or not you have had previous experience of Arts Council applications and support. Please come prepared with questions: these might include questions about how best to articulate your artistic ideas; how to plan your marketing and audience development; budgets and finance; touring and partnerships; London vs Regions; research and development support; and current levels of competition for the scheme.
Presented in association with Artsadmin
