The Live Art Development Agency holds consultation sessions with lecturers in Higher Education. The aim of these sessions is to look at a range of issues in relation to teaching structures, the culture of departments and the possibilities for cultural exchange with curators and performance and live artists in the sector. Topics for discussion can include course plans and resources for teaching, emergent artists and their relation to course thematics, artists and curators as guest lecturers, participation in platforms, practical support for graduated and emergent artists within university contexts. These are two-way exchanges in which the agency learns how live art practices are being perceived and taught in HE and lecturers gain possibilities for further connection with live art practice.
