In September 2017 LADA moved to a new facility on Mansford Street, (Bethnal Green, London). With 85% more space, The Garrett Centre has given LADA the opportunity to provide subsidised desk space for up to six Live Art Producers, curators, researchers and artists.
Flexible desk spaces are available on an annual basis, with the following benefits: free wifi provision; lift access and disabled toilet; access to photocopier, printer, kitchen; use of LADA’s mailing address; access to LADA staff for advice and other support; networking with other producers curators, researchers and artists; a 10% discount on any Unbound purchases; access to LADA’s Study Room. Subject to availability and timing space can also be made available for meetings and gatherings. Desk sharing is possible. We are not able to offer landline telephone access.

In your statement please briefly summarise your work to date as a Live Art producer, curator, researcher or artist (with references to artists, projects, partners and/or funders you work or have worked with);
provide a brief description of your working practice, relationship to Live Art, and plans for the year ahead; and say why you would like to participate in this desk scheme, and what might you offer to LADA, its new facility and/or the other producers participating in this scheme (maximum 500 words)
If we are able to offer you a desk –
A letter of agreement will be signed by both parties.
Two months notice to quit will be required on either side.
Rent paid monthly in advance; no deposit required.
Potential for annual renewal of desk rental.
Cost: £100/month (no VAT).
Access 10am-6pm, Monday-Fridays (weekend and evening access may be available on request).
